At the very beginning of December each class walked to the Methodist Church in Stapleford to see all the trees at their annual Christmas Tree Festival. The theme this year was ‘The Nativity’. Each tree was decorated to represent part of the Christmas story. The Albany tree was covered in angels, shepherds, kings and stars with a manger at the very top. The decorations were made by children from each class and it both looked and smelt wonderful (thanks to the Christmas spice star biscuits).
When the children had seen all the trees and heard the Christmas story they were given a drink and a biscuit.
