Albany Infant and Nursery School is a large school catering for 3 to 7 year olds who live in Stapleford, Nottinghamshire.
We are a welcoming school set in large grounds. We work closely with Albany Junior school which is a separate school
sharing the site. The Stapleford Sure Start Children’s Centre is also on the same site and we have close links with them.
Inside the school there are six classrooms and our very popular nursery. There are two wings to the school;
a Foundation wing for our Reception and Nursery children and a Key Stage 1 wing for Year 1 and Year 2 children.
Each wing has shared baking, craft and role play areas. There is a large hall which is used for PE, concerts and assemblies.
We have a Library area, an administration area and a school kitchen which prepares fresh school meals for the children every day.
Children’s learning outdoors is a priority of our school. Every class has access to outdoor
learning areas and we also have a large playground.
Albany Infant and Nursery School is a happy and caring place for children and staff. The curriculum is challenging and
well differentiated with children learning through an active and creative approach enabling them to achieve their full potential.
Visits to school are welcome!
